Join the Dizzy Club and friends for chill out jazz amongst the beauty of the Botanical Garden on a glorious evening this summer. Bring your own refreshments and furniture, and enjoy the availability of a full bar, a variety of hot and cold food and ice cream if you forget your own!

Wednesday 2nd July

7:00pm Nicola Farnon Quartet
Nicola's latest album, "Here I Go Again" displays her remarkable range of talents - not only is she a singer with enormous vitality, she also plays vibrant double bass. Packed with swinging standards, inspired originals (penned by Nicola herself) and some equally stylish and innovative arrangements.

9:15pm The Dizzy Club
Almost no other band seems to possess the ability to perform in so many varied and diverse venues as The Dizzies. The repetoire of their songbook is full of artistic contradictions. With influences of Hot Club, 40's swing, Blue note Soul and Sinatra often with Latin rhythms give them an edge most bands would die for. Currently they have 3 albums available from iTunes and on CD. Equally at home performing to 3,000 plus festival audiences or in the intimate atmosphere of a sleazy Jazz club the Dizzies do it everywhere.

Thursday 3rd July

7:00pm Carmen Ghia and the Hot Rods
Close your peepers and picture in your fusebox, the best greased, most well oiled quartet of ear busting, hip shakin musicians ever to swing a sax, slap a bass, smack a skin and twang a G-string - enter the Hotrods! New band fronted by Niamh Kavanagh with Jonnie Woods, double bass. Rob Skeet, sax. Bryan Day, guitars and Ian Bagshaw on drums. With Bluey Jordan about them. www.carmanghiahotrods.co.uk
